If you have a disability or condition that means you need support to take your SQE assessments, you can apply for reasonable adjustments (RA).
The application and booking process for candidates requesting adjustments is different. You do not book your assessment online — instead, you tell us what support you need, and we'll handle your booking once everything is in place.

During your pre-booking steps, you'll be asked if you need reasonable adjustments. Select Yes.
You'll then be prompted to complete the reasonable adjustment application form. This is where you'll:
We welcome applications from candidates with disabilities as defined by the Equality Act 2010 — and we may also be able to help if you have a condition or there are other reasons that affect your ability to take the assessment.

Once you've submitted your application, we'll:
You must not book your assessment through the candidate portal. We will do this for you once your adjustments have been agreed and your payment has been received.
4
Within five working days, you'll be contacted by your reasonable adjustment liaison (RAL). This will be your main point of contact throughout the process.
If we have all the information we need, your RAL will send you a proposed reasonable adjustment plan.
If we need more detail or supporting information, your RAL will explain what’s missing and how to provide it.

If you're happy with the proposal, you will accept it through your candidate account.
Once accepted:
Your agreed adjustments will be confirmed in writing and arranged for the day(s) of your assessment.
