Monitoring and Maximising Diversity survey

What is the Monitoring and Maximising Diversity survey survey?

The Monitoring and Maximising Diversity survey is a questionnaire designed to help us monitor diversity across all SQE candidates. It collects information about your education, background, ethnicity, and other diversity factors.

Why do you need to complete the survey?

Completing the survey helps the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and Kaplan SQE understand the background of candidates taking the SQE. Your personal data is collected to help us with our SQE equality and diversity monitoring.

When and how to complete the survey

You must complete the survey before booking your first SQE assessment.

You will be asked to review and, if necessary, update your answers before booking an assessment. For some questions you can simply confirm your original answers if they are still correct. For others you will be asked to answer again. This helps us keep your information current and relevant and provide better data for analysis.

Your data and privacy

All responses are confidential and handled in line with strict data protection policies. The information you provide is used solely for equality and diversity monitoring purposes and does not affect your assessment results.
