You must do this to remain eligible for the SQE. You will not be able to book your next assessment until you have updated your answers.
We have published an updated Reasonable Adjustments Policy.
The updated policy requires candidates to apply for their reasonable adjustments earlier and to complete the process of arranging a plan before the deadline for submitting a seat reservation form. This will facilitate bringing the booking process for candidates with reasonable adjustments in line with those candidates who do not have adjustments. Candidates have fed back that they would like to have confirmation of their adjustments and assessment location earlier and these changes will facilitate that.

The new policy will first apply to candidates that book the October SQE2. However, all candidates sitting other SQE assessments are strongly encouraged to apply for their adjustments as soon as possible from today to ensure the best candidate experience.
For most candidates a reasonable adjustment plan for both SQE1 and SQE2 with up to two years validity will be created. This is in line with changes we introduced in June 2025.
