The monitoring and maximising diversity survey has been updated. Please return to the survey to reconfirm your answers and complete the new section at the end.
You must do this to remain eligible for the SQE. You will not be able to book your next assessment until you have updated your answers.
When it comes to paying for the SQE, you have two options:
Please note, we do not offer payment plans. All SQE fees are VAT exempt, and you must pay in full at the time of booking your assessment.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Maestro, and American Express. Payments are processed securely through WorldPay.
If your employer or training provider is supporting you to sit an SQE assessment, they can purchase prepaid vouchers as an alternative to you paying the assessment fees directly.
Vouchers can be used for SQE1 or SQE2 assessments and must specify the assessment sitting. Vouchers are valid only until the end of the relevant booking window and can be used once only. They cannot be resold, swapped, or transferred between assessments.
Available vouchers include:
Purchasing a voucher does not guarantee a seat; you or your provider must still complete the booking. All seats are subject to availability.
The voucher scheme is primarily for organisations booking multiple candidates. Vouchers can be purchased on a one-off or annual basis.
To order vouchers, contact Candidate Services. Organisations wishing to pay by invoice must complete a credit application form, also available via Candidate Services. Once approved, you will receive a credit limit and can purchase vouchers up to that amount.
Voucher codes are sent approximately 48 hours after purchase confirmation. Invoices follow Kaplan’s standard 30-day payment terms.
Unused and unexpired vouchers can be cancelled and refunded before expiry for a £50 administration fee. Cancellation requests must be made in writing to Candidate Services.
If vouchers were purchased by invoice and remain unpaid, no cancellation fee applies. Refunds take about 14 days.
Expired vouchers that were not used will be refunded automatically without needing to request a refund. Vouchers cannot be extended beyond their expiry date.
Vouchers are valid only for the specific assessment sitting they were purchased for and expire at the end of that booking window.
For booking window closure dates, see the Booking windows page.
