You must do this to remain eligible for the SQE. You will not be able to book your next assessment until you have updated your answers.
The cut-off date for law upon which candidates may be examined in the SQE2 April 2026 assessment window is 28 December 2025, as provided on the Assessment dates page. For the avoidance of doubt and to assist candidates, provisions of the Sentencing Act 2026 which came into effect on 22 March 2026 and are within the FLK are therefore NOT examinable in the SQE2 April 2026 assessment window.
