January 2026 SQE1 results have been released

Mar 10, 2026

We have sent an email with a link to access your results via your candidate account. We also have resources to help you understand what is included in your SQE1 results. There is also a short video that provides a quick explanation of your SQE1 results.

Booking the April SQE2

We will email all candidates that sat the January SQE1 to update them on the next steps if they want to book the April SQE2. The key points are:

  • Information is available on the April 2026 SQE2 booking information page.
  • If candidates completed the April SQE2 seat reservation form we sent on 29 January, and pass SQE1, they should log in to their candidate account as soon as possible after they receive their results to complete their pre-booking steps. Candidates must complete these to enable us to create their booking for the April SQE2.
  • From 11-18 March we will email requests for payment so candidates can complete their booking. Candidates must pay within 48 hours of receiving the email otherwise their seat will be cancelled.
  • The above applies to candidates with reasonable adjustments (Note: candidates with reasonable adjustments will be contacted when we wish them to pay). Candidates that have not received or accepted their reasonable adjustment proposal will receive the email payment request after they have accepted their proposal. This may be after 18 March.

Resitting SQE1

If candidates completed the seat reservation form but do not pass SQE1, we will release the seat reserved for them. The next sitting of SQE1 is in July. As usual, candidates will need to complete the pre-booking steps in order to book. More information about booking the July SQE1 will be published on the website when available.

Statistical report

We will publish the statistical report for this assessment by early April on the SQE reports page. It will contain the assessment related information such as the pass rate, including statistics that provide some feedback on the SQE1 assessments, consisting of FLK1 and FLK2, and their performance.
