We have published the assessment dates for the January and July 2027 SQE1 sittings and the January, April, and July 2027 SQE2 sittings. We have also published the results date for the July 2026 SQE1.
The April SQE2 assessment window is the largest of the SQE2 deliveries. To allow us to meet capacity, in 2027, the April SQE2 assessment window will start a week earlier than it currently does (i.e. it will start in the third week of the month) and last for four weeks. This will likely be the pattern for April SQE2 assessment sittings after 2027, but dates will be published on the Assessment dates page when they are confirmed.
There is no change to the published April 2026 SQE2 assessment dates. There will be no change to the publication date of April SQE2 results and they will continue to be released towards the end of August, as is currently the pattern.
The other SQE2 assessment windows (January, July, and October) remain unchanged and are not affected.
The Assessment dates webpage has been updated to reflect this change and further assessment dates and booking information will be published when they are available.
