Results have been released

Results for the July 2025 SQE2 have been released to candidates. Candidates have been sent an email advising them to log in to their SQE candidate account to view their results page.

Understanding you results

We have a number of resources to help you better understand your results. There is a short video that provides a quick explanation of your SQE2 results page. We also have a video that provides more detailed guidance on your SQE2 results including information on your scaled score, quintile and breakdown of marks. You may also find it helpful to review the information in Understanding your SQE2 results.

Post-assessment statistical report

The post-assessment statistical report has also been published on the SQE Reports page. It sets out some feedback on the SQE2 assessments and their performance.

Admission

On passing SQE2, if you intend to apply for admission, there is information on the SRA’s website about what you will need to do before applying for admission.

Retaking SQE2

If you find that you need to retake SQE2, please see the assessment dates page for information on when further sittings of the SQE2 take place.

If you want to resit in January, please see the dedicated information on the process. You will be able to book on-line via your candidate account from 10am on 4 December until 5pm on 11 December (UK times), but you must complete your pre-booking steps in order to book a seat.

Should it prove necessary, a queuing system will be in place to allow for fair access to the booking process. If this facility is used, the waiting page will indicate your approximate waiting time and as soon as you reach the front of the queue, you will be redirected to log in and book. You will see the test centres available for the oral assessment sittings in the bookings page when making a booking.

Reasonable adjustments

If you require a reasonable adjustment to resit SQE2, please log into your candidate account to make your application for a reasonable adjustment plan. If you intend to sit in January 2026, please make this application as soon as possible.
