Results will be released to candidates on 10 September, after 11am (UK time). We will send you an email after 11am to let you know when results are available. You should click on the link in the email to access your results.
There will also be information on the next steps on your results page.
You will see your marks displayed as scaled scores in your candidate account. You will also be able to access a detailed breakdown by practice area. Please see Understanding what’s included in your SQE1 results for more information. A short video also provides a useful visual overview.
We will publish the statistical report for this assessment by the middle of October on the SQE reports page. It will contain the assessment related information such as the pass rate, including statistics that provide some feedback on the SQE1 assessments, consisting of FLK1 and FLK2, and their performance.
On the day of results we will also email all candidates that sat the July SQE1 to update them on the next steps if they want to book the October SQE2. Information on this is available. The key points are:
If you completed the October SQE2 seat reservation form we sent on 16 June and pass the July SQE1, you should log in to your candidate account as soon as possible after you receive your results to complete your pre-booking steps. You must complete these for us to be able to reserve your seat for the October SQE2.
From 10am on 11 September up to 5pm on 19 September we will send requests for payment to your registered SQE email address. On receipt of your email, please log in to your SQE account to see the seat that has been reserved for you. If you wish to accept the seat then you should make payment. You must pay within 48 hours of receiving the email otherwise your seat will be cancelled. This includes candidates with reasonable adjustments. (Note: candidates with reasonable adjustments must currently contact us to make payment). You can reschedule your booking via your candidate account from 10am on 22 September up until 5pm (UK time) on 24 September if you find a seat you feel is more suitable. However you need to first accept the seat if you want to reschedule it.
There is no obligation on you to accept the seat reservation if you do not want to sit the October SQE2. If you do not take any further action or do not make payment by the specified date, your reservation will lapse.
If you completed the seat reservation form but do not pass SQE1, we will release the seat reserved for you. The next sitting of SQE1 is in January and bookings will open on 15 September. As usual, candidates will need to complete the pre-booking steps in order to book. More information, including key dates, is available on the January 2026 booking information page.
