The monitoring and maximising diversity survey has been updated. Please return to the survey to reconfirm your answers and complete the new section at the end.
You must do this to remain eligible for the SQE. You will not be able to book your next assessment until you have updated your answers.
Results will be released on 10 September, after 11am (UK time). We will send candidates an email after 11am notifying them when results are available. Candidates should click on the link in the email to access their results.
There will also be information on the next steps for candidates on their results page.
By way of reminder, candidates will see their marks displayed as scaled scores. Candidates will also be able to access a detailed breakdown by practice area. Please see Understanding what’s included in your SQE1 results for more information. A short video also provides a useful visual overview.
We will publish the statistical report for this assessment by the middle of October on the SQE reports page. It will contain the assessment related information such as the pass rate, including statistics that provide some feedback on the SQE1 assessments, consisting of FLK1 and FLK2, and their performance.
On the day of results we will also email all candidates that sat the July SQE1 to update them on the next steps if they want to book the October SQE2. The key points are:
Booking the October SQE2. If candidates completed the October SQE2 seat reservation form we sent on 3 July and pass SQE1, they should log in to their candidate account as soon as possible after they receive their results to complete their pre-booking steps. Candidates must complete these to be able to complete their booking for the October SQE2 when the booking window reopens on 17 September at 10am. On 17 September you will see the seat reserved for you in your candidate account. If you wish to accept the seat then you should make payment. You can reschedule your booking via your candidate account up until 5pm (UK time) on 20 September if you find a seat you feel is more suitable. However you do not need to accept the seat. If you do not take any further action or do not make payment by 5pm (UK time) on 19 September your reservation will lapse.
Resitting SQE1. If candidates completed the seat reservation form but do not pass SQE1, we will release the seat reserved for them. The next sitting of SQE1 is in January and bookings will open in October. As usual, candidates will need to complete the pre-booking steps in order to book. More information will be available on the website.
