You must do this to remain eligible for the SQE. You will not be able to book your next assessment until you have updated your answers.
July 2023 SQE1 results have been released to candidate accounts. Candidates will also receive an email with a link to access their results. We also have some information to help you understand what is included in your SQE1 results.
Taking SQE2. If you find that you have passed SQE1 and would like to take SQE2 in October 2023, please don’t forget that you will need to complete the pre-booking steps as usual in order to book an assessment. Booking is open and closes at 5pm (UK time) on 11 September 2023. Should a large number of candidates want to book at the same time, a queuing system will be in place for logging in to candidate accounts to allow for fair access to the booking process. If this facility is used, the waiting page will indicate your estimated waiting time and as soon as you reach the front of the queue, you will be redirected to that page.

The Candidate Services Team will only be able to help candidates with queries relating to booking if they are logged in to their candidate account. Bookings are subject to availability.
SQE2 sittings in 2024. There will be four sittings of SQE2 in 2024: January, April, July and October. Please see the Timings page for more information.
Retaking SQE1. If you find that you need to retake SQE1 (either FLK1 or FLK2 or both), the next sitting of SQE1 is in January 2024. Please see Booking and paying for assessments to understand what steps are needed in order to book an assessment. You will need to complete the pre-booking steps as usual in order to book an assessment.
The booking window for the January 2024 SQE1 will open at 10am (UK time) on 4 October 2023 and will close at 5pm (UK time) on 15 November 2023.
Statistical report. We will be publish the statistical report for the July SQE1 by the end of September on the SQE reports page. It will contain the assessment related information such as the pass rates and pass marks, including statistics that provide some feedback on the SQE1 assessments, consisting of FLK1 and FLK2, and their performance.
