We have taken the decision to move the opening of booking for the SQE2 assessment to 10 am on Monday 31 January.
We want to make sure the candidate booking process is as smooth and as fair a process as possible. This includes making sure people are able to book on a first-come-first serve basis.
Our data shows that a large number of potential SQE2 candidates have yet to complete the pre-booking process. We are concerned that this may slow down the booking process for candidates, or that candidates will not be in a position to make their bookings when the booking window opens.
If they have not already, we would ask candidates to please complete the pre-booking process as soon as possible. It is important that candidates complete registration and the pre-booking steps otherwise they will be unable to book when the window opens.
We are asking candidates to ensure that they have followed steps 1 and 2 in their SQE candidate account. Candidates should refer to My SQE overview within their account for full details and explanation.
The booking window will close at the same time as before, at 5pm on 7 March.
We are putting extra measures in place to ensure a smooth process for all candidates. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
