You must do this to remain eligible for the SQE. You will not be able to book your next assessment until you have updated your answers.
There will be a phased approach for SQE2 in Welsh between April 2022 and September 2023. From September 2024 candidates will be able to sit SQE1 in Welsh.
For SQE2 candidates will be able to choose to provide their answers in Welsh from April 2022, and by September 2023 it will be possible to sit a complete SQE2 exam in Welsh.
Once available, SQE1 and SQE2 written exams can be taken in Welsh at Pearson VUE test centres. For SQE2 oral exams, candidates will only be able to take the Welsh equivalent exam in Cardiff.
