A dedicated Kaplan assessment team is onsite at each SQE2 oral assessment venue. Kaplan manages the organisation and delivery of the oral assessments, including for candidates with reasonable adjustments. If you have any questions or need any further help on the day please speak to a member of the team who will be able to assist you.
Below is some further information about the SQE2 oral assessment venues. We will continue to add to this information where possible.
If you have a disability or other condition and require reasonable adjustments, you should liaise with the Equality and Quality team not the venue. The Equality and Quality team will agree your reasonable adjustment plan with you and help make the arrangements for you.
The information below is overview in nature and the more detailed individual arrangements will be made between you and the Equality and Quality team. Please see the information on Reasonable Adjustments for information on the reasonable adjustment process including some illustrative examples of the types of reasonable adjustments that could be made.
Bathrooms are readily available throughout the venues including accessible bathrooms. Please feel free to speak to a marshal to locate your nearest bathroom. If you have a specific requirement, please raise this with the Equality and Quality team in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements in good time for your assessment.
There is information about accessibility on the venue’s website, including information on areas such as parking, step free access and hearing loops. There is a taxi rank located opposite the venue which can be used for pick ups and drop offs.
There are various images of the venue on the website if it helps you to become familiar with the setting. There is also a virtual tour on the venue’s website. It will help give you a general indication of what the venue can look like as some candidates like to be aware of this in advance. Please note however that this is the venue’s generic virtual tour. It is not necessarily the case that all areas of the venue are used for the assessment. We also adapt the venue configuration as needed for the assessments.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and has a drop off area in front of the venue. It is not necessarily the case that all areas of the venue are used for the assessment. We also adapt the venue configuration as needed for the assessments.
This venue is on Holloway Road which is quite a busy road with limited drop off areas. There is very limited parking at the venue, so please liaise with the Equality and Quality team if your disability or condition is such that you need access to parking of a drop off areas to see if this can be accommodated.
