You must do this to remain eligible for the SQE. You will not be able to book your next assessment until you have updated your answers.
Your SQE1 assessments will take place in a Pearson VUE test centre. After you book your assessments, we will send you an email for each assessment day, confirming the time at which you must report to the assessment centre, the location, and duration of your assessment. Please note that candidates may have different report times so please arrive at the time specified to you.
When you arrive at the Pearson VUE test centre, you will complete registration, including an ID check.
SQE1 consists of two assessments each of 180 questions. Each assessment takes place on a separate day. Each day is split into two sessions of 2 hours 33 minutes with 90 questions in each session. There will be a 60 minute break between the sessions, during which you may access personal belongings and leave the test centre.

SQE2 consists of a single exam. In order to pass SQE2 you must obtain the overall pass mark for SQE2. The SQE2 written and oral assessments must be completed in the same assessment window.

Your SQE2 written assessments will take place in a Pearson VUE test centre. There are 12 SQE2 written assessment stations over three separate consecutive days. On each day, you will sit four assessments, split across two sessions.

Your SQE2 oral assessments will take place in an oral assessment centre, either in London, Manchester, Birmingham, or Cardiff. The SQE2 Welsh oral assessment will only be held in Cardiff.
