We have published an updated Fit to Sit Policy and declaration.
There is updated wording to paragraph 3 of the policy relating to a candidate withdrawing before the start of an assessment. Paragraph 4 has also been updated relating to the action for a candidate to take if they are taken ill during an assessment.
The fit to sit declaration is provided by candidates before each assessment. It has been updated with the addition of wording that if a candidate is taken ill during the assessment or experiences other unexpected or unforeseeable personal circumstances beyond their control, they will report this to the invigilator as soon as possible and at the latest before leaving the assessment venue.
The updated policy and declaration will apply for assessments taking place from July 2023, and so will first apply to the July SQE1 and SQE2.
