The monitoring and maximising diversity survey has been updated. Please return to the survey to reconfirm your answers and complete the new section at the end.
You must do this to remain eligible for the SQE. You will not be able to book your next assessment until you have updated your answers.
We will be contacting candidates by email between 18 November - 29 November asking them to make payment to complete the booking of their seat. There is no obligation to do so if the candidate no longer intends to sit the January SQE2. This approach will provide earlier confirmation to candidates of their seat and location and will allow them to plan ahead. It will also mean that any seats no longer wanted by candidates can be released allowing other candidates to take them up.
Candidates will be sent an email from us once they have been allocated their seat. Candidates will have 48 hours from when they receive the email to make payment for their seat via their candidate account. If payment is not made the seat reservation will be automatically cancelled after this period unless they have advised us that they wish to pay on 3 December (see below).
Those candidates who wish to wait until 3 December to pay should let us know by completing the Seat Reservation Confirmation form. These candidates will have from 10am on 3 December until 5pm (UK time) on 5 December to pay for their seat, via their SQE candidate account, after which time their seat will be released.
Candidates can use the Seat reservation withdrawal request form to let us know if they no longer want to sit.
Candidates will have the opportunity to choose an alternative date/location, subject to availability, between 10am on 3 December and 5pm on 12 December, via their SQE candidate account. But they must have secured their seat by making payment in order to do so. Candidates will be able cancel their seat with no cancellation fee within 14 days from making their booking.
The process is slightly different for candidates with reasonable adjustments. These candidates will be sent an email requesting payment from 18 November. They will also have 48 hours from when they receive the email to make payment for their seat by calling the Candidate Services Team. If payment is not made the seat reservation will be automatically cancelled after this period unless further time is requested (further details to follow in payment requests emails from 18 November). Candidates that no longer require their seat can use the Seat reservation withdrawal request form to let us know if they no longer want to sit.
We will email all candidates who submitted a seat reservation form with this information. For help with any questions, please email the Candidate Services Team at enquiries@sqe.sra.org.uk.
