As part of our cycle of recruitment, we are expanding our pool of experienced qualified solicitors to mark the SQE2 written assessments and/or attendance note/legal analysis. Further information about the SQE2 written assessments and attendance note can be found in the SQE2 Assessment Specification.
As an SQE2 assessment marker you will have subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Your role will be to assess the candidates’ skills and application of law against the relevant assessment criteria.
This role is homebased, and you will attend virtual marking standardisation meetings and mark the written assessments and/or attendance note online, using our online marking platform.
Full marking training will be given to new markers.

Please note that the selection process will include attendance at an online SQE2 recruitment event. This event includes a slide presentation on SQE2 assessment methodology and criteria, and a marking exercise set in the context of either a Criminal Litigation or Dispute Resolution advocacy SQE2 skills assessment. The recruitment event is not remunerated, however, if your application for the role is successful, you will be paid for the marking that you do.
