The booking window will re-open at 10am (UK time) on 13 August. Candidates that completed a seat reservation form will see the seat reserved for them in their candidate account. If you wish to accept your seat please make payment by 5pm (UK time) on 16 August. You do not need to accept the seat; if you do not take any further action or do not make payment by 5pm (UK time) on 16 August your reservation will lapse.
On 13 August, candidates will not be able to gain access to their candidate account from approximately 9am (UK time) until the booking window re-opens at 10am. Should a large number of candidates want to access their accounts at the same time, a queuing system will be in place to allow for fair access. If this facility is used, the waiting page will indicate your approximate waiting time and you will be redirected to log in when you reach the front of the queue. Candidates that completed a seat reservation form may prefer to log in at a later time if a queue is in place. You do not need to queue and make payment to complete your booking immediately as you have until 5pm (UK time) on 16 August to complete the booking of the seat we have reserved for you.
Candidates that did not complete a seat reservation form (including candidates waiting for their April SQE2 results) can use the self-service booking system as usual via their candidate account (subject to availability) up to 5pm (UK time) on 3 September then again from 10am (UK time) on 17 September. The booking window will close at 5pm (UK time) on 20 September.
July SQE1 results will be released on 10 September and the booking window will reopen at 10am (UK time) on 17 September for these candidates if they pass SQE1 and want to pay for the seat reserved for them for the October SQE2. A reminder will be posted on this website shortly before the booking window reopens for these candidates.
By way of reminder, the seat reservation process will not apply to you. If you find that you need to resit SQE2 and you wish to do so in October, you will be able to book on-line as soon as you have completed your pre-booking steps after you receive your April SQE2 results. Results are due to be released on 28 August. Note the Timing section above.
