The monitoring and maximising diversity survey has been updated. Please return to the survey to reconfirm your answers and complete the new section at the end.
You must do this to remain eligible for the SQE. You will not be able to book your next assessment until you have updated your answers.
We have released 40 new SQE1 sample questions. These are in addition to the current set of 90 sample questions. We have also released a short video to help candidates understand the anatomy or structure of an SQE1 question.
The new 40 questions are split evenly between FLK1 and FLK2 creating a total of 130 sample questions, 65 for FLK1 and 65 for FLK2. The sample questions are designed to illustrate the type of questions that appear on the FLK1 and FLK2 assessments. They follow the same style and have been drafted in accordance with the same process as the questions used in the assessment.
Some questions can be relatively short and others will be longer. They all follow the structure of having a stem (or fact pattern), the lead in (or question) and five options (or answers). The short video helps candidates understand this anatomy or structure of an SQE1 question.
The sample questions and video can be accessed via the SQE1 sample questions page.
Please note: The PDF versions of the sample questions contain all 130 sample questions. The PDF versions are now split into FLK1 and FLK2. The newly released sample questions are numbered 46-65 in each set. The web-based version of the sample questions is being updated and currently only shows the existing 90 questions in total. We will provide a further update as soon as all 130 questions are available via the web-based version.
