We are looking for qualified solicitors to participate in SQE1 Angoff panels.
The Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) is made up of SQE1 and SQE2. SQE1 consists of single best answer multiple choice questions. Further information can be found on our Assessment information page.
The process of attaching an Angoff score to an SQE1 question is the start of the process of ascertaining the pass mark for an individual exam.
Panel members will consider how many newly qualified solicitors would answer each question presented correctly. Full training will be provided and no advance preparation is required for each day.
We are looking for panel members who are newly qualified solicitors (up to two years PQE).
A compulsory half day of training will take place on 20 September and we would expect members to sit on at least two full days during the course of September and/or October. Members will be remunerated (including for training) and reasonable expenses provided.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Nicoleta Toma via email: nicoleta.toma@kaplan.co.uk for more information, including details on remuneration, expenses and dates, as soon as possible and no later than Monday 16 August.
